Hendersonville Chiropractor, Dr. Ed McCullough

“It was incredible,” continues Dr. McCullough. “I’ll never forget that first adjustment."

"It was as if the hot poker was removed from between my shoulder blades with just a gentle adjustment behind my ear. That’s when I decided I wanted to be a N.U.C.C.A. chiropractor like Dr. Gregg of Austin, Texas.” "That's it... no snapping, popping or twisting? Just a light touch behind the ear?" asked Ed. "That's it... you just needed your HEAD ON STRAIGHT! Simple as that." replied Dr. Gregg.

Dr. Ed McCullough received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. After completing his study there, he was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his four years at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic. He also served his school and fellow classmates as President of the Student body for two consecutive years. "It was a wonderful and rich experience trying to promote growth and change for my classmates and for those colleagues yet to come." stated Dr. McCullough.

McCullough Spinal Care's core method of care is based on the NUCCA technique, a highly specialized and technologically advanced form of upper cervical chiropractic care. This technique has long been recognized for precision, low force, and effectiveness of the adjustment. The underlying X-ray work has shown to be one of the most advanced and precise of any chiropractic technique.

Hendersonville chiropractors, Drs. Ed & Jake McCullough and son, Ryland

Ed is happily married to his beautiful wife, partner and doctor, Dr. Lisa "Jake" McCullough. They have a wonderful son, Ryland, whom they adore.

"We actually met during our undergraduate years at Arizona State University. We had a chance meeting and I didn't want to lose contact with her at a school of 60,000 students. So when she told me that she was taking this special course at the other campus 40 minutes away... I said, "That's funny, I'm taking that class too. Maybe we could carpool?" So we did and the rest, as they say, is history. What she didn't know at the time was that I hadn't even heard of that class. I had to really work to get into that class but it's been worth it."

Dr. Ed Asks some important questions of interest to Hendersonville residents - Chiropractor Hendersonville Dr. Ed Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
